About Me

Marlene Alvarado: Long Beach, California, United States; I'm a Chicana from Chicago, who lives in beautiful sunny Long Beach, CA. I have been everything from a long distance operator to a Spanish language commercial writer and producer. Now I am a retired ESL teacher. I love my students and my work. I believe I contributed something to society and I had fun being creative for my students to make it easier for them to enjoy learning. Some of them only had a year of schooling. I am now having fun creating videos. I am also producing "Soy del Pueblo" a public access TV program that airs on Padnet.tv Charter Cable Channel 32 and Verizon 41. I will be post some of them on this blog.
